If I had to describe in one-word Tender Touch Animal Hospital, I would have to say family. Everyone that I work with, coworkers, management, and Dr. Monica encourage me and inspire me to do my best every day. They are with me through my achievements, and with me during my failures. Failing is NOT a bad thing in my eyes because I have people to support me and show me the ways to be better and successful. The continuous education that is provided to me keeps in the know, which I appreciate because vet med is always changing. Dr. Monica is one of the best veterinarians around. Yes, she is great with animals, but she is much more than that. Dr. Monica is a person that cares for her patients, clients, and employee’s. Dr. Monica wants her employees to have all the tools to be successful and happy. Dr. Monica will go to great lengths to education her employee’s. There is so much more I can say about Dr. Monica, but I guess you would have to apply and come work with us to find out! Working at TTAH is hard work, and there will be many challenges ahead. Working at TTAH is a serious thing and you have a lot of responsibilities. You are saving lives and with that comes a lot of responsibility. I love what I do and would not change a thing. I am so grateful to have the team I have, because if one of us fails, we all fail. In order for us to be successful we have to work as a team to get it done and my team at TTAH definitely gets the job done!

Tender Touch Animal Hospital is more than just the place I go to work; it is more than just a job. I have worked with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, for almost 5 years, and I have always considered Tender Touch my home away from home. Tender Touch Animal Hospital is a safe place, a place that is drama free and you can be who you are with like-minded people free of judgement. It’s a place where you can go to be your best self and work with the most incredible people who only want to help you succeed. There are so many reasons I love working at Tender Touch Animal Hospital whether its working with the incredibly talented and skilled individuals at TTAH, or learning something new every day, and having the ability to continue your education. Tender touch is a place that will allow you to learn new skills and practice old ones, whether you fail or succeed, the team will always build you up and teach you to make you a better veterinary advocate than when you started. The team you work with are more than just “co-workers” they become your family, they are always by your side, if that means saving a blocked cat, or sharing some puppy love from your appointment then you through in some whale-watching and mud-runs that end in a bonfire. Working in the veterinary field is not an easy job… You have good days and bad days and stories that will live with you for a lifetime, but no matter what happens you will always have the loyalty of your team to help answer the dumbest questions you may have, to covering your next appointment while you pull yourself together after helping a family say goodbye to one of your favorite patients.

I worked with Tender Touch Animal Hospital the (unfortunately) brief time I was in Washington State. Being in a new region, far away from friends and family, I felt immediately welcomed. This was very comforting, the team at TTAH had a way of making Washington state feel very much like home. The culture of their practice feels very much like a family, you can feel comfortable being yourself & the team respects each other. Working at TTAH, I felt I gained more confidence in myself than at other practices. Dr. Monica practices medicine you can be proud of, the clients care so deeply for their fur babies, and the patients are adorable! Fear Free techniques taught and practiced at TTAH help our patients feel excited to come back. If I relocate to WA again, I would be more than excited to call TTAH my unicorn clinic again!
